Website analytics

Website analytics

With your permission, The Falkners Arms uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use this website. This helps us improve information about our menus, events and opening hours.

Analytics records information such as pages viewed, approximate location, browser and device type, referral sources, and interactions including menu, telephone, email and directions links. A click is not evidence of a completed call, booking or visit to the pub. We use aggregated reports to review website performance.

Your choice

Google Analytics is loaded only after you choose “Accept analytics”. Choosing “Decline analytics” does not prevent you from using the website. You can change your choice at any time using the “Analytics preferences” button. Declining after accepting stops this integration and removes its Google Analytics cookies from this browser.

Cookies and storage

We remember your choice in your browser’s local storage for up to 180 days. If you accept, Google Analytics uses cookies named _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier to distinguish browsers and sessions. These cookies are configured with a 180-day lifetime, which may be refreshed when you return. We do not enable Google Signals or advertising personalisation in this integration.

Google and your information

Analytics information is processed by Google. Read Google’s privacy policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services for details.
